No idea if the Royals would even be interested in trading him but is there any interest in Danny Duffy as a secondary rotation acquisition?

Ever since I saw he didn't make the Royals postseason rotation I've had a bit of an eye on Duffy.

The downsides there are that he's never cracked 150 IP and he only has 2 years of team control. That puts a limit on the upper bound of value you can get from him. At which point, is he really all that different than rolling the dice again with Wood? Duffy throws harder, but he's got a much more severe platoon split. Maybe Bosio helps with that, and the 'why not Wood' question is only valid to a certain point, but he's in a tricky spot. I guess what I'm saying is that if I'm trading for a guy who is short term rotation depth(1-2 years of team control, no options), I'd rather be confident in his durability, talent, or both. I don't think I can say either about Duffy, though he is intriguing.
