Anything there with David Garner? He's been really solid with Myrtle Beach and I remember reading some nice stuff about him when he was drafted: good stuff; threw pretty hard; could move through the system fast as a bullpen arm. He's been kinda non-existent until recently, though.

Works in the low-to-mid 90s, had a good slider coming out of college.

Some comments about last night's Eugene vs SK contest.

It was played in very smokey conditions. The smoke from many large fires in eastern Oregon and Washington has drifted into the Willamette valley.

Preston Morrison has a side armed delivery.

Eugene has hit a league low 22 home runs so far this season. In contrast, SK has a league leading 50.

Dela Rosa and Jimenez both make me feel old. They were born in 1996. Shoot, my honda was made in 1999.

Dela Rosa had a tough game defensively, 3 errors. He made the last one fielding a routine ground ball in the ninth that would have ended the game with a Eugene victory. Instead the tying run scored and SK won in the 10th.
