I'm gonna dig out my old Blackstone magic set, head to Wrigley and rule these feebs like a king.

Oh man, I had that same set. I can only imagine how tired my parents got of watching me do the same tricks.

Heh, same here. I thought I was Doctor Strange.

i got a book about how to do card tricks in third grade. then i got a bogus deck and learned how to do three card monte really well. when i took it to school one of the kids knew how it worked and embarrassed me in front of everyone and so i cried and cried and ran into the bathroom to hide.

it was a terrible experience at the time but an important step on the path to learning never to try or hope for anything good to ever happen.

your con being exposed by someone leads you to the conclusion that nothing good can ever happen?
