Charcer Burks has quietly had a solid first half and looks like an intriguing, young CF talent.

 

I've been following him for a bit, but he's really hit the skids lately. .158/.273/.184, bringing his season down to .276/.342/.347.

 

He hasn't been talked about much (if at all), but Chesny Young can hit. No power to speak of, though.

 

Was looking at various draft reports on him and came across this:

 

Solid hitter without power that projects to be a second baseman gives a pretty good indication why he slipped into day 3. Young is an interesting guy in that he seems like a guy that the Cardinals would take in all honest
