I think maybe we're a little spoiled by last season starting with most of our players already in mid season form.

 

If Blues fans want to print up t shirts that say :21 because they feel like they won something, good for them. Not like they're going to win anything else.

 

I've seen enough of Hayes for the time being. I'm not someone that hates the kid but I just don't see his game ever really fitting in with what the Hawks want to do offensively. I could have sworn I heard Doc refer to him as "plodding" at one point (during the 2nd period).

And I didn't think Hayes was bad last night. He had some good rushes. St. Louis plays a pretty tight defensive game. If Schwartz and Tarasenko add scoring they will be dangerous.
