I've seen that last goal a number of times now but just now saw that Frolik deflection before Bollands rebound. Without that deflection, Rask makes that save.

it was a brilliant redirect, and it was unlucky post.

neither the nbc or cbc announcers mentioned it. they should have been screaming about it, it was masterful. i saw it on the second replay.

CBC mentioned the tip several times. The actual call went "Here's a chance for Oduya, tipped, Bolland, scores!"

The announcer then mentioned the deflection during replays.

Confirmed.

I would definitely pay to get CBC on satellite for their hockey coverage alone. Guess that's one (the only) good thing about living in Detroit.

Yep. I'd definitely pay for that.

I'm really surprised this is the first time people are claiming they saw/heard of it. It was discussed quite a bit afterward.

I have no good excuse. All I got was that I was too busy enjoying the moment to analyze it too closely.

This is stupid, but I hate that I've seen Oduya, Shaw and Hossa wearing White Sox hats the last couple of days, meanwhile the only person I've seen wearing a Cubs hat is Bollig

I love Shaw, but honestly, he kinda seems like a Sox fan, doesn't he?

The Cubs are on the road and the White Sox are at home, aren't they?

Don't worry, the cup and Kane will spend plenty of time in Wrigley this summer.

Boring parade so far....at least the coverage on CSN is not close enough to the actual players, its all views from helicopters.

Statement said about every parade that has ever happened, anywhere.

True....although it was much more enjoyable in person in 2010.

i just love watching Toews lift the stick and instantly skate for that spot on the ice before the hawks even had possession, it was like he was playing chess.

lol this crowd is awesome...from the USA chants after the anthem, to the Detroit sucks chants when Pat was recapping the series, the aforementioned comments to Quinn, and now singing happy birthday to Stan Bowman.
