And another error, is he making an alarming amount? Or is his the typical lower minors amount?

 

Half(well, 4 of 9) of his errors are throwing errors that have come in the last 10 days since they've been forced to stick stone hands Geiger at 1B after Bour broke his wrist. I'd chalk that up to him having zero help at the other end of the throw, while still needing to work on consistency like we'd expect.

 

FYI, Bour was at Tennessee all season before his injury. Geiger has been the primary 1B at Daytona all season.

 

Well that's what I get for going off memory.

 

All the more reason to not be super worried about high error totals. Geiger is terrible with a glove in his hands.

 

Agreed. The same goes for throwing errors for Kane County infielders. Forget Gold Glove first baseman, these guys aren't even throwing the ball to average defenders at first base.
