Someone in my league is floating a trade of Matt Ryan + Calvin Johnson to me for Aaron Rodgers + Doug Martin.

 

My first inclination is a big NO... But Ryan does put up a lot of points, and Johnson can't continue to be bad, can he?

That's intriguing, what's the rest of your roster like and leagues playoff set up?? If you go through week 16 for playoffs Ryan might be a bit risky if you have a serious chance to win as they will have that division well rapped up by then and he might be sitting out.

 

I don't think I'd do it, Martin is a legit starting RB in fantasy and is going to continue to get almost all of TB carries and Rodgers looks like he's back into last years form without a healthy WR core (Nelson should be back after the bye week at the latest and Jennings around week 14-15) their run game is non-existant and Rodgers in going to have to throw a lot and they should be playing for the division/WC spot until the last weeks of the season and so the Packers won't have a chance to rest him during potential playoff weeks as they will need wins.

I'm pretty thin at RB. I've got Frank Gore, Alfred Morris and LeShore. My WR (aside from Cruz) have underperformed all season. I've got Nicks, Antonio Brown and DeSean Jackson.

 

And playoffs go week 14, 15 and 16.
