Remember when people were suggesting the Cubs could be .500 in 2013 and ready to compete in 2014? I'm really starting to think those predictions overshot by at least 1-2 years...

2015 was always my year of picking for anything resembling any sort of competitive/.500 team

Or the lineups with Vitters and Jackson like it was a good thing. That's the downside of pretending you are a small market team. Such a crap shoot and we aren't a small market team. Please stop behaving like we are.

Cabrera is a worthless sack of [expletive].

No, he's truly not. He's got as good of stuff as anyone currently on our major league staff, not named Shark. Give him time.

If there's anyone who can take this band of not so loveable losers and turn them into a .500 team by next year, it's the guys currently in our front office.

I didn't notice this until now, but after last night, Rizzo's OPS dipped below .800 for the first time this season, so that adds to the fun.

I believe it was .788 going into Sunday.

If only there was a way for regular people to look up that stuff. Maybe like a reference site for baseball OR ANY OF THE OTHER 9000 PLACES IT CAN BE EASILY FOUND.
