God I hope he dominates the AFL and flies through the system.

Is he definitely playing in the AFL?

No confirmation as rosters haven't been released yet.

Not a definite. I'd say likely though.

Smokies game goes final midway through 6 - shortened by rain, which means Austin Kirk got a complete game in his first AA start.

When do those usually get put out?

Probably will be out sometime this coming week - the deadline to set a team's AA and AAA rosters (you're only allowed one player below AA at the AFL) was last Wednesday.

AZL Cubs rained out. Guess they don't try to wait out rain delays in the AZL since they don't really draw fans; the last thunderstorm is about to roll out of Peoria and it's completely clear behind it.

So now he has two no-hitters in his career, doesn't he?

As davell said, he's well on his way to. McLeod said if he plays well at Peoria, he's likely in.

Crap, typo. I meant complete game.

Kirk's stuff...still terrible?

KG thinks he has a shot because of pitchibility. To my knowledge, there's not been an uptick in his stuff.
