SS Francisco Sanchez - $350,000 bonus in 2010

LHP Christian Pieters - $350,000 bonus in 2011

SS Luis Enrique Acosta - $1.1 million in 2011

I put this as a new topic so the players of interest don't get lost through the rest of the season. Thanks for the info Raisin.

I guess Jeffrey Baez is possibly still up in the air, status-wise. He's recovering from a broken wrist, according to AZPhil. I guess it's conceivable he winds up at Mesa at some point. Raisin asked a great question over at TCR, by the way, and AZPhil said we could see a different outlook down there altogether. Players won't be pushed to Mesa as quickly, work visas are easier to obtain, so guys could come and go if they're not ready for whatever reason. Cubs feel some guys have been rushed in the past. It'll be pretty cool to see if guys get promoted midseason now.

Here's the link to AZ Phil's comment: http://www.thecubreporter.com/2012/06/02/angels-victory-saturday-park#comment-204251

I'm a big fan of slowly pushing prospects, especially foreign prospects in their first pro season.

think this may be overworking the kid, having him pitch for both DSL teams.

found this on bleacher nation (not to be confused with the thoroughly useless bleacher report):

Among the names I will be watching the most closely are LHP Jose Paulino, LHP Chris Pieters, LHP Frailyn Figueroa, SS Luis Acosta, 3B Mark Malave, 3B Roney Alcala, OF Jeffry Baez, and OF Ricardo Marcano.

some of the guys he's interested are obvious, like acosta and malava, who received 7-figure bonuses. hadn't heard anything about paulino, but he had a monster outing today. roney alcala is also off to a nice start.
