What the hell is this losing points for the first day of the season. My roster was legal before the first game was even played.

looks like you dropped a bunch of guys the afternoon of 3/28. the japan game had already been played by that point.

RWD has a five man bench.

 

HBC has a four man bench.

 

kid rodelo has a seven man bench.

 

tootielicious has a league record eight man bench.

 

eyes of texas has cashner and tomlin on his DL. if they don't start the season on the DL (and i don't believe either is injured), he will/should lose both.

 

 

So I lost 8 points in scoring because Carpenter couldn't be moved to the DL yet? It's not exactly an illegal roster.

You could have moved him to the DL

 

Wouldn't let me on my end. It is what it is, I suppose, but I didn't drop a single player to become eligible. I thought it would be abundantly clear of Carpenter's condition.

Having to go with only 4 SP tomorrow due to the 4 start rule this week. I have no additional SP on my roster to place in my starting lineup.

I added Arroyo b/c I wasn't going to get 4 starts this week. Let me know if I didn't apply the "anything to get to 7 (or 4)" rule correctly.

You can do whatever you want with your pitching staff as long as you don't exceed the max number of starts or have more than 2 relievers on any one day.

I think that i have found the secret to success in fantasy baseball. Make sure your opponent only uses 3 of the 4 available starts and have each of those starts be for negative points. Seems to work pretty well.

I'm pretty happy with a win considering I could only get 3 starts and my best pitcher left with the flu in the 3rd inning. Now I have to figure out what to do with all my starters getting 2 next week. It'll be just best guesses based on matchups...

Hey, after that atrocious first day and a half (I was still at -15 before the Billingsley start began), I actually managed to outscore some teams. So maybe my roster isn't as terrible as it appeared. :P
