Brewers, Pirates Swap Veras For McGehee

The Brewers acquired reliever Jose Veras from the Pirates for iRnfielder Casey McGehee, the teams announced. Both players are arbitration eligible.

Huntington said last night that Alvarez was the starting 3B, but that there'd be lots of opportunity for McGehee to get at bats at 1B and 3B.
