So, I haven't been to Wrigley since the Cubs were good, but I will likely find myself in Chicago on the 21. Since they play the Cardinals that day, I thought it might behoove me to see our future star Pujols play.

Which brings up my question, since the cubs haven't been doing well, and they haven't been selling out, what are my chances of getting good tickets cheap? Cubs.com is still showing this game as a Marquee game. Has anyone else had success getting tickets this year outside of Cubs.com? Do the Cubs still sell same-day tickets? Or, is this just a game i have to buy online and get the best seats I can because it will likely be sold out?

Well Sunday's are always easier to get than Saturday's. Most (but not all) of the Cardinals fans that flood to the games from down south will be on their way back home. But there are still a ton of Cards fans in Chicago that will raise the demand. That particular Cardinals series was the first series to sell out after the Yankees series (and maybe White Sox), so I don't think you will be able to get tickets under face value.

Despite how crappy the Cubs are, people still goto weekend games in the summer months, and with the Cardinals in the running for the Central, you gotta believe a lot of the Cardinal fan population in Chicago will have the same idea as you (trying to buy tickets cheap from disgruntled Cubs fans).

FWIW, I went to two of the Phillies games, and for both games I got tickets for ~ half of face value.

Monday tickets I got on eBay the Thursday prior.

Tuesday tickets I got same-day, using tix4cause.com.

I got tickets for last Saturday for just over half of face value. S. 123. Got them on stubhub on Wednesday or Thursday. There weren't any cheap tickets until about Tuesday though. And that was the Stros.
