Fortunately it sounds like a short-term issue for Dempster. He is expected to make one more start before the All-Star break. Coleman will probably go back down on Tuesday to make room for Ortiz.

Too bad Carpenter had to be the sacrificial lamb and they cant find it in their hearts to part with Grabow. Its not like hes going to rack up any trade value in the next month.

I fully expected to see a "dempster to the dl" thread after I saw coleman was pitching on the mlbnetwork ticker. thank god he is only missing a start. Otherwise our entire starting 5 would have had a trip to the dl before the end of july. Man this season has been brutal for injuries.
