Is this another attempt at a AAAA starter to boost our ailing AAA pitching rotation??

probably. I don't mind it. Buchter was an interesting lefty, but there were better options in the system already. The rotation's a mess in AAA, and not much help is ready to go up from Tennessee anytime soon. Wonder who goes down/cut.

My guess is that Carillo will move up from Tennessee.. As for Iowa. I really have no clue.. So many players up there with terrible numbers..

 

And with Cashner, Wells, and Garza All Coming back soon (fingers crossed) who knows what is going to happen, im sure there are a few worried AAAAers right now

 

Buchter was overmatching the guys in High A, i dont know if he was the first lefty i would have chosen to pass on, but in saying that, maybe the MLB vet will prove useful
