micah gibbs has been miles better than he was last year.

 

.520 OBP. Crazy.

 

Alcantara is at .309. He's gotten two hits in five of his last six games, I think.

AzPhil has kind of raved about his arm and his SS range, although in past I think he's been pretty errorific. When a gifted defensive SS is hitting .300 in full-season as a teenager, that's worth keeping an eye on.

 

The thing that got my attention with Alcantara is that he made his U.S. debut at age 18 - just like Castro and Lake - but at Boise, not Mesa like those 2. And he held his own at Boise last year.
