Rich Harden shut down "indefinitely"

Harden is scheduled to meet with a doctor on Monday afternoon. He was hoping to throw off a mound Tuesday, but the A's have already canceled those plans and can't say for certain when he might be ready to play catch again. It's highly unlikely that Harden will be ready for the start of the regular season, even as a reliever.

 

He's really fun to watch, I wish he could actually stay healthy.
