Lou Piniella to the Giants

Looks like Piniella will be a front office consultant for the Giants. Didn't think he would stay away for too long, but I thought it'd be a little longer than this.

Sounds like the type of job he can mostly handle from home. If he hadn't been offered something like this I doubt you would have seen him involved in baseball this soon.

I almost wonder if it will pretty much consist of the Giants calling him with an opinion every once in a while. I doubt he would want to retire and then go into a high stress job.
