10 Team PPR League

Rodgers

Bradshaw, McCoy, Forte, Greene

Fitz, Bryant, Maclin, Moss, V-Jax, Knox

Gates, Whitten

Bironas

Balt, Cinci, Dal

1st round bye is a possibility if I win this week or as low as last seed.

Trade deadline is passed. I'm planning on dropping Knox and Dal for a backup QB and RB, finding a playoff kicker, and tinkering with defense. Any suggestions for targets?

Rotoworld take:

WEEKS 14-16:SCHEDULES TO FEAST ON

1. DENVER: at Arz, at Oak, vs. Hou -- Knowshon Moreno was an excellent buy low while he was injured. Brandon Lloyd and Kyle Orton are showing no signs of slowing down, this just confirms their value.

2. TENNESSEE: vs. Ind, vs. Hou, at KC -- Kenny Britt is worth hanging on to in deep formats just in case he makes it back for that Week 15 game. Chris Johnson is still right there with Arian Foster and Adrian Peterson, and this schedule probably puts him ahead.

3. OAKLAND: at Jax, vs. Den, vs. Ind -- Owners can only pray that Darren McFadden stays healthy long enough to get 20+ touches in these games. Zach Miller is getting healthier and remains a TE1 asset as we look ahead.

4. ARIZONA: vs. Den, at Car, vs. Dal -- This is a good schedule to run against, if Beanie Wells ever gets his act together. The plus weather is also a good thing for Larry Fitzgerald.

5. JACKSONVILLE: vs. Oak, at Ind, vs. Wash -- We’ve seen what David Garrard can do to plus matchups. Maurice Jones-Drew only has three rushing touchdowns so far, but he’s a good bet to end with closer to 10. Only road game here is in a dome.

6. WASHINGTON: vs. TB, at Dall, at Jax --Good schedule, but not loving any players here. Backfield about to get real crowded, can’t trust Donovan McNabb.

7. TAMPA BAY: at Was, vs. Det, vs. Sea -- LeGarrette Blount, Mike Williams are two rookies to own.

8. ATlANTA: at Car, at Sea, vs. NO -- Michael Turner remains an excellent buy low.

9. BALTIMORE: at Hou, vs. NO, at Cle -- Potential bad weather in Weeks 15 and 16 make this good, but not great.

WEEKS 14-16: SCHEDULES TO AVOID

1. JETS: vs. Mia, at Pit, at Chi -- All three games figure to be slugfests in poor weather.

2. GIANTS: at Min, vs. Phi, at GB -- Despite all the injuries, the Packers defense is still elite.

3. MINNESOTA: vs. Giants, vs. Chi, at Phi -- The dome games help, but three very good defenses here. Note that Tarvaris Jackson is also likely to be under center at this point.

4. CINCINNATI: at Pit, vs. Cle, vs. SD -- More potential for horrible weather. Will be hard for Carson Palmer and company to pile up those garbage time stats here.

5. HOUSTON: vs. Bal, at Ten, at Den -- Arian Foster has proven he is matchup proof. Worry is if Matt Schaub will make it to the end of the season.

6. CHICAGO: vs. NE, at Min, vs. Jets -- That game against the Jets during the fantasy Super Bowl is bad news for Jay Cutler and the entire passing game.

7. NEW ENGLAND: at Chi, vs. GB, at Buf -- The Patriots offense leads the league in points per game, but there isn’t one player I’d like to have for this stretch outside of Tom Brady.

WEEKS 15 and 16 ONLY

BEST

MIAMI: vs. Buf, vs. Det

INDIANAPOLIS: vs. Jax, at Oak

DALLAS: vs. Was, at Arz

TENNESSEE: Hou, at KC

DENVER: at Oak, vs. Hou

WASHINGTON: at Dal, at Jax

ARIZONA: at Car, vs. Dal

WORST

JETS: at Pit, at Chi

CLEVELAND: at Cin, vs. Bal

GIANTS: vs. Phi, at GB

PHILADELPHIA: at Giants, vs. Min

CHICAGO: at Min, vs. Jets

MINNESOTA: vs. Chi, at Phi

My team is the hard luck team of my league. I have the second most points, and I'm 5-5, barely hanging onto the playoff spot. I keep getting barely beat by teams having crazy weeks (I just went up against Vick), and killing teams when they have off weeks.

And according to this, I'm in trouble for the playoffs. Nicks, Bradshaw, and McCoy are 3 of my start every week guys. And none of my other guys has an easy schedule. This sucks.

I am liking where my pay league team is going. The team is currently in 4th at 6-4 and is the second highest scoring team in the league (just five points from the leader).

The Good:

Kyle Orton...has a gravy playoff schedule.

Arian Foster...Tough schedule, but the Texans love to get into shootouts and he is so involved in the running and passing games so it doesn't really matter.

Frank Gore...Has Sea, SD and StL in the playoffs. My team will be tough to beat if he keeps pace as a top 4-5 RB.

DeSean Jackson...Has a tough schedule the last two weeks, but he and Vick hit one big pass play every week.

The Bad:

Tight end...I haven't scored more than 12 points on any given week. I currently have Shiancoe. I missed out on Tamme by five minutes when Clark went down. I have also has Winslow at times. There isn't much out there right now in free agency.

RB depth...If either Foster or Gore goes down I am screwed. My backups are Portis and Stewart, though Stewart has done well in the past and should be the undisputed #1 guy in Carolina when he comes back, for what that's worth.

The Unknown:

My other receivers...Randy Moss has an excellent playoff schedule but will that only mean better games for his teammates?...Steve Johnson has been a nice surprise but the weather is bound to affect the Bills passing game...Vincent Jackson is the wildcard, who knows what to expect?...Devone Bess is good for 6-8 points about every week but is no candidate to explode...Lance Moore is hit-or-miss, all-or-nothing.

Pittsburgh Defense...Is the recent drop off an aberration or a look at things to come. They do have Cin, NYJ and Car in the playoffs which is a pretty good schedule.

Randy Moss has absolutely killed me this year. Two of my losses were by one and two points when Randy got shutout. I nearly lost last week when he only scored two points. I may end up replacing him in the lineup with Jackson when he returns.

You should be happy with V-Jax. SD is going through their normal second half surge, they can't run the ball, and Rivers has been unstoppable. The reports say he's in great shape. I would wait to see how he's used in week 12, but he should be a WR1 the rest of the way.

Moss is a wait and see the next few weeks to see if he's more then a decoy. But Tennessee has some good playoff matchups.

The Cowboys are still hoping Tony Romo (fractured collarbone) will return to action this season.

Romo is set for checkup X-rays within the next 24 hours, at which point we should know more about the possibilities of a return. It's important to note that owner Jerry Jones thinks there is value in finishing the season strong, even if the Cowboys are eliminated from the playoffs. With the weak secondaries of the Redskins and Cardinals on the schedule in Weeks 15 and 16, Romo is a bench stash in fantasy. Nov. 21 - 12:17 pm et
