Rose is turning into a fantastic player, but watching highlights of the other great point guards in the league I find that Rose really needs to improve on getting his teammates involved. As a point guard you have to be a distributer, and it looks like the rest of the team is standing around watching half the time.

 

wait, what? he's doing everything he can. everybody else sucks. everytime he makes a nice pass it to a teammate it clanks off their hands or they miss a wide open jumper.

Everytime? He (and the rest of the team for that matter) has to realize that this team isn't going to win with him scoring 28 a game. The rest of the team has to get more active. He has to help create for them.

This is the kind of game I would point to if anyone is actually insane enough to think Rondo is as important to the Celtics as Rose is to the Bulls. There's just no comparison. Rondo has to expend like half as much energy for the Celtics to be competitive.

i don't know what else you want him to do. he can't make the rest of the team stop sucking.

 

and why can't they win without him scoring 28 a game until boozer comes back? is it better that he keeps passing it to deng and bogans so they can brick open jumpers or turn it over?

 

rose has to be the scorer with boozer out. there's is nobody else.

A few people jumped off the Bulls bandwagon after last night. But you can't let one game when the Knicks were historically hot from the arc and the Bulls didn't have their number two scoring threat change your opinion. Colin Cowherd said that the Bulls had regressed? What? And Mark Jackson had them 7th in the east. What?
