Wow Luol scored 40. In one game. In his first few years Deng shot threes. Then the coaching staff realized he wasn't very good at it for the time being. But I give the guy credit for progressing in that area. If your PG can't shoot threes, your SF better be a three point threat.

 

give credit to thibs for the 3's. he stopped practice and yelled at loul for taking a long 2 during a preseason scrimmage. that would always drive me crazy with loul.

 

apparently scalabrine will take his place when it comes to taking silly long 2's

Great win last night. That was a nice, easy win over a pretty good team.

Thib's defensive philosophy has always been forcing long 2's, so it makes sense one of the first things he did was stop one his best players from doing that. It's amazing to see the team have a purpose on the offensive end, the 4th quarter against the Thunder notwithstanding.

Well it is a little early to do say he always does this. But you are right that he took out everyone all at once. The Bulls couldn't generate no offense with the scrubs. It's like they had no plays drawn up.

We're absolutely incapable of defending without fouling. In tonight's game, we're just not capable of defending period.

Moving screens all over the place! Stoudamire finally got called for one near the end of the second and Bogans was basically punching Turiaf in the face to keep him from moving into him on screens. This is ridiculous. The turnovers are killing the Bulls too not to mention they usually get a good portion of their points off of turnovers and the Knicks only have 4.

 

Extremely frustrating game. Rose needs to take over and pull this game into reach. I'm hoping the Knicks cool off from shooting. I'm curious to know how many of their points they've scored outside of the paint. Now I know what it was like to be on the other end of the Scott Skiles Bulls.
