I've tried emailing Vick and sending him messages through the league message board to no avail. Unless someone has luck with getting in touch with him, it's time to look for a replacement for him. While we are still on hiatus, no communication at all for nearly a month now just doesn't cut it.

 

Juan, which team would you like to take over?

 

I'll assign you Kevin's team for now so that you can get access to the site, and then between Kevin's team and Vick's team, you can decide which one you want. I'm thinking that Vick might have taken over your old team, but I didn't think to start tracking that. Not that it really matters one way or another anyway.

Thought there was something weird about that email address when I typed it up. One thing I don't like about sending invites is that you don't get confirmation that an invite was actually sent. I actually sent you a separate email from my personal email with the at&t email address, and it wouldn't deliver that email.

 

Anyway, just need to replace Vick now since he hasn't responded to the league messages that were sent out, none of the posts on NSBB or by the personal emails I've sent him.

I agree you've given him fair chance. I can understand not checking in with NSBB during the offseason, but he should have received your personal e-mails and responded if he's interested.

I've got a couple of people interested in that last spot. Laura is stepping back at this time because she doesn't think she can be around enough for the style of draft we conduct, even though I told her it was really relaxed. Anyway, we can keep her in mind if we don't fill the spot.

 

However, DLocks contacted me via PM this morning. He admits he's not a huge contributor here, and I honestly don't know anything about him, but a quick search of his NSBB profile shows he.....

How passionate are we about only allowing access to the Roadkill forum for those who no longer have teams?

 

In other words, do I need to delete Kevin and Vick from this forum, or are we okay with them having access?

We've had former members still having access to the forum for several years and I don't think it causes any problems. I think Juan still had access during his time away from the league. It's not unusual for a former member to return to the league, and being able to keep up with it may ease a member's return. We could always remove a specific former member if he/she causes trouble in this forum after leaving the league.
