Don't know how much you guys care about Independent baseball, but I'm going to college in Fargo now, and the Fargo Moorhead Redhawks play right across the street from my dorm. I didn't think I would be into independent league baseball, but after going to a game I realized I loved it. They made the playoffs and swept both rounds to repeat as champions!

It was way different from MLB, obviously. There were only 2400 fans at the park (capacity is around 4000, but it was a crappy night) but the winning was just like MLB, where the pitcher throws his arms up after getting the last out and everyone runs out of the dugout to form a dogpile. They had the champagne brought out onto the field, and they even let the fans go onto the field! I was able to get my picture taken with a couple of the players and manager.

Don't know if anyone cares, but I thought it was a pretty cool experience.
