Beckett signs extension - 4 Years $68MM

Red Sox signed RHP Josh Beckett to a four-year, $68 million extension.

 

The new deal, to be announced Monday afternoon at a press conference, will pay Beckett a $5 million signing bonus and annual salaries of $15.75 million from 2011-2014.

Eh, I don't know. I was lazy when looking up his numbers, based it on ERA. That and I don't like Josh Beckett and I wanted to find a reason to hate his stupid face. That comment was based on hate, not fact.

for some reason beckett has become underrated. he's been very good the last 3 years and has average close to 200 innings over that stretch.
