It's 0-0 in the bottom of the 2nd. Theriot and Nady each have a single. Theriot was picked off. Zambrano has given up a double and I don't think anything else. Sorry I'm listening while working so not paying close attention.

Judging from the box score, this was a pretty dull game (outside of the 3rd inning Z-implosion).

In ST, dull is fine by me. Let's just hope Z was working on a pitch, or something.

besides the 3rd inning, cubs pitchers did well: grabow, parisi, cashner, diamond, gaub and berg each pitch an inning and they combined for a line of 6 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 2 BB, 3 K. scrappy mcsingles was 3-3; castro took over and hit a pair of singles in his 2 ABs.
