to be honest, sending someone a pm may not be very effective since they won't see it until they visit the site - if you can get on sportsline and send a message, that is probably more effective.

That's not necessarily true. I get an email notification everytime someone sends me a PM.

That may be a good point. I tend not to think of it because I automatically get an e-mail when I get a private message here, but not everybody enables that option.
