I seem to recall receiving a few more points due to the scoring changes where I returned a draft pick, which is a bit ridiculous in the big picture.

Once ANY team, not just mine, pares down their roster, it's too late to make scoring changes that can then affect someone's legal roster. The only real way to fix that is to either allow my team to be legal even though it's now over by a couple of points or put everyone back on my roster and let me redo it from scratch.

There is absolutely no way it should cost me a draft pick. That's just ridiculous. Unless someone made an announcement prior to making my roster legal that someone might change the scoring, thus we SHOULDN'T pare down our rosters yet.

That's a fly by night move, and if that's how this league typically works, I think it might be best if you go ahead and replace me as an owner. It just won't be fun for me.

The scoring changes were a CBS issue, and nothing that we did or did not do. We waited until we received notice that last season's points were archived before we performed any scoring changes at all. The problem is, CBS changed the points and it became retroactive for some reason. It affected every team, whether they were complete or not, and unfortunately, we all had to deal with it.

Because the points were not actually archived, there is no way to know what everyone should have had. I have no way to check it or to change it, so it is what it is at this point. Sorry. Next year, if we make changes (which I don't anticipate because of how much input we gave everyone this past season), we'll wait until we've paid for the league before making any changes.

And, after looking over everything, you did not drop a single player that you would have kept over your actual keepers, anyway, and if someone had offered you 55 points to trade down by only 7 picks in the 13th round, you surely would have done that in a heartbeat. So, you have a legal roster, and it cost you the 198th overall pick (and gave you back the 205th). I don't get where the beef is? This was likely a one time CBS glitch, and it cost you literally nothing.

This is a non-issue, all things considered. IF you disagree, let me know what you want to see done, and we'll figure out how to handle it.

I want to be told ahead of time not to pare down my roster before scoring changes might occur. It shouldn't cost me anything at all because I didn't know scoring changes would occur and I pared down my roster prior to those changes.

I did nothing illegal. But, for whatever reason, you now get a better pick than me because I wanted to get my team legal sooner rather than later.

The fair thing to do is let the points stand for those teams that didn't know scoring changes would take place or undo the original trade that we made that eventually made my team illegal in the first place.

That trade is what put me over the cap in the first place, and I traded for points to cover the difference. The scoring change required that I trade again to cover the points, which is not something I agreed to, but was basically forced to do considering the points change.

I'd rather undo the trades than be forced to give up more than I originally planned. As the commissioner, I would expect you to understand this rather than be the guy who takes advantage of someone else's awkward situation. And it doesn't matter how much different the trade is now than it was originally. It's not what I originally agreed to.

Okay, I did a bunch of research and learned that the 55 points you gave me actually cost me a 3rd round pick straight up.

After the scoring changes, my team needed another 7 lousy points, thus you swapped me places in the 11th round. It's this one that I don't like, not the other one.

I made my team legal while not knowing that there would be scoring changes. That shouldn't cost me or benefit someone else, period.

I reversed the trade, so I hope that fixes the issue. It's nobody's fault that the scoring changes took effect the way they did, so you shouldn't be punished. You have your points and you have your pick back. So, it's done.
