It's been pretty bad since Tuesday (there is another fire in the San Gabriels about 10 miles northeast of us too). What's really strange is that there has been little wind so we have a monster mushroom cloud over the San Gabriels. I'll post pics later; it looks really creepy.

Also a major story is the Station Fire is now marching towards Mt. Wilson which is home to all the broadcasting TV towers (and most radio towers) serving the LA metro along with multimillion dollar observatory and telescope equipment.
