When I first heard that "Proven Winners" was sponsoring a WGN Radio Cubs game, I was surprised that they would have a sports betting company doing commercials on their station. But I guess "Proven Winners" sells flowers and shrubs. Did anyone else think along similar lines?

Why would you assume "Proven Winners" was the name of a sports betting company? Is there a company of the same name?

I think I remember hearing of a company with that name that told you over the phone which teams to pick.
