I'm looking to buy some tickets to Friday's afternoon game against the Dodgers as I'll be town for a wedding. Has anyone had any bad dealings going through stubhub to get some?

I've used Stub Hub four different occasions with no problems. Twice for Vikings home openers and twice for Cubs opening day bleacher tickets. The transaction was smooth and the seat were where they were supposed to be

Ok.

I'm always a little worrisome when I buy tickets over the web from other sources so I was a little curious. I'm sure it's probably pretty smooth but I was just curious on the consensus around here.

StubHub tickets for Cubs games are all electronic tickets that have unique barcodes generated from the Cubs ticket system once they're sold (meaning they're different than the ones on the original tickets). There's basically zero risk.

I had one bad experience in a seller who apparently did not verify my purchase (my credit card was never charged). After one week of no response, the sale was cancelled and Stubhub notified me that this seller was to be watched from this point on and issued me a $10 voucher for any subsequent purchase. It essentially knocked out any surchages and delivery. But that was my first 'bad' experience in around 20 dealing with them. They are good and reliable.
