I hope Kevin Towers is watching, although at this point we could probably use Adrian Gonzalez from them more than Peavy. How about Marshall, Vitters, Caridad, Ascanio, Jake Fox, Chad Fox, Tony Thomas, Micah Hoffpauir, Jay Jackson, Ryan Flaherty, Rebel Ridling, Randy Wells, Kevin Hart, Marquez Smith, Andrew Cashner, Mitch Atkins, and Derrek Lee as a throw in for both.

I agree 100 percent that we need Gonzalez more than we now need (or ever needed) Peavy. However, I'm pretty sure he's classified as "untouchable", so we'd have to offer the moon and a few stars for him.

Towers would be much more willing to part with Peavy. I guess if we trade him we could turn around and flip someone (Lilly?) for a bat, but I don't see that happening, either.

Fine, we'll throw in Brad Snyder, Jeff Stevens, Chris Archer, Jeremy Papelbon, Casey Lambery, Casey Coleman, Blake Lalli...
