I was thinking this the last game I watch and I am far from a hockey expert but has Kane appeared tougher than usual lately? He seems to actually take a hit to make a pass. I could be wrong though and just looking for things that aren't there but it seems that he would be rewarded more it he is playing tougher.

He has, and it's funny how noticeable it is. He was such a cream puff all year that when he actually gives the effort he sticks out like a sore thumb. A sore thumb that hurts really good.

If that's how Kane needs to play to stay healthy and be effective in the playoffs, then I'll take it. He's listed at 175 pounds, but I don't think he's much more than 160, and he'd be destroyed trying to play tough for an entire regular season.
