Pardon me for posting this non-story. It just cracks me up how every season it is the same old threatening mantra "Win Or Else", and the same old drama with the Yankees. This time it is Girardi on the hot seat.

 

Win or else?

Or else what.... Howard? Or else Girardi does like Joe Torre did and heads off to another team in 2010 and maybe actually makes the playoffs? Or else he might go to a team who doesn't live by the free agent, and die by the free agent every season? Or else he goes to a team where he can actually coach players instead of babysit a bunch of rich primadonnas? How scary!

Girardi is a terrible, terrible baseball manager, especially in the AL, and even more so in the AL East where every win is important.
