This is the Peoria pitcher that threw into the crowd during the game/fight against Dayton last season.

This article irritates me. I don't have too much sympathy for the guy, he clearly had to know what he was doing. I completely fail to see how the fact that he has a second grade education or speaks zero English has anything to do with the situation. The kid is a punk who intentionally threw the ball to try and hurt someone. If he's scared, he should be. He may have just done something that could send him to prison. I've done plenty of things that I'm not proud of and I certainly don't won't to sound unsympathetic or high-n-mighty. This kid was handed a golden opportunity to turn his life around and help his family. An opportunity that I would give a nut for. He (literally) threw it away and Melissa Isaacson wants me to feel sympathetic for him?
