You know, as a Cubs fan, I'm used to this drivel, and I accept it as part of my Cubfandom. It's just something that we'll hear a lot every year until they win a World Series.

 

Every team looks to next year after losing, it's just that this line's been associated with the Cubs by the media.

i know everyone is in a big hurry to prove that this collapse hurt them more than it hurt anyone else and that they're such a superfan that they won't ever get over this but a lot of these reactions are pretty embarrassing
