Another game lost

We can't gain em, just hold em sometimes, but we sure can lose em

It's not gonna be easy to win this division, the Brewers won't stop winning anytime soon.

It's really annoying

I would chide the Pirates for being sure to put up no fight whatsoever against the Brewers, but then I remember that they were good little doormats for a change this season and didn't give us much trouble either.

Are you people for real? Your not for real. you cant be for real. They beat the tar out of the damn Pirates. Your supposed to beat the tar out of the damn Pirates. Seriosuly, were not going to win every game from here on out. Not going to happen. If you want to freak out if we hit a 3 game skid and the Brewers keep winning, go ahead, but seriously...

Mets blowpen* does it again.

* See what I did there? Because its suppose to be BULLpen. But since they keep losing I put in the word BLOW instead.

Funny? Right?.. No? Oh.. Alright

So if its this frusterating for us not being able to gain much ground on the Brewers, how frusterating is it for them that they rarely lose and are having their best season in recent memory, and are still 5.5 games out of first?

As a Brewer fan here is my input. The Cubs have to have one of the biggest collapses in baseball history to not at least win the wild card. Taking the division most likely means a series against the diamondbacks who feature a playoff rotation of Webb, Haren, RJ and an upgraded offense. A Wild Card appearance makes the Cubs most likley face a Phillies or Mets team who it seems will back door into the playoffs.

You have nothing to worry about! Even if the unlikely happens and you somehow only get the wild card your odds of going to the world series probably drop something like 5%.

Everyone calm down, did anyone expect we'd sweep the Phillies? We were bound to lose one, and the Brewers are playing the Pirates. Of course they're going to win. We still have a good lead.

Thanks to the Brewers win, the Pirates are eliminated from the NL Central race, and can no longer finish ahead of the Cubs.

3 down, 12 to go.

Heck, look at the Astros. They have put a 20-9 August and are as far behind us as they were when they started this month.

arizona is three games above .500. that's the definition of back dooring into the playoffs.
