Earlier today, I taped a conversation I had with a friend about who the best players are for each Major League franchise. Here's what we had to say on the subject.

I also wanted to mention that when I mentioned the Indians nominees, I mentioned Al Rosen being one of them when it was really Nap Lajoie.

And the Tiger nominee whose name I didn't remember was Al Kaline.

On another note, my friend even pays tribute to the great Lyman Bostock.

Right on about Foxx and Simmons being left off the A's list. That's some serious Bravo Sierra. Simmons had 9 straight 100+ RBI seasons to start his career, including three of those years being over 150+.
