I don't know exactly when, so I voted other. I guess it just game after game of him doing well, making plays in center, hitting HR's, etc. and friends saying "when are you going to get over the fact that he was a Cardinal?"

I was at his first game as a Cub and boo'd the crap out of him, and don't regret doing that. But I am glad we picked him up, and don't know how many games we would have lost if we didn't have him... :-k

Whenever it was that his hitting stopped being considered fluky and he started to show that he actually had something left. Probably somewhere around that Atlanta game or the series against the Blue Jays.

And some fun numbers:

G PA AB R H 2B 3B HR RBI BB IBB SO HBP SH SF GDP SB CS BA OBP SLG OPS
+---+---+---+---+---+--+--+--+---+---+---+---+---+---+---+---+---+--+-----+-----+-----+-----+
  8 25 24 0 3 0 0 0 0 1 0 3 0 0 0 2 0 0 .125 .160 .125 .285
 50 181 152 30 45 13 1 14 38 28 1 36 0 0 1 2 0 0 .296 .403 .671 1.074

The first set is Edmonds' first eight games with the Cubs (May 15 to May 27) and the second set is since then, starting with the comeback against the Rockies on May 30.
