Jackson, who earned the victory, retired the next five batters he faced and struck out seven. Starter Jose Pina, still limited as he works back from injury, allowed one hit in three innings. Chris Siegfried finished the game and allowed just one hit in two innings.

 

"They were just unbelievable," Flores said. "I was calling the game back there and they were throwing it right where I wanted. You can't ask for anything more."
