...to CBS Database.

Once these players are off waivers, the teams that just drafted these players will need to make room for them on their minor league roster. I will go through the players being added and list them here, along with the team that drafted them, so that you know you need to make a roster move.

For example....one of my picks, Neftali Feliz, is being added to the database. I will need to release a current player on my minor league roster and add Feliz or just release my rights to Feliz.

Roady = Michel Inoa, P, Oakland

White Soxoholics = Neftali Feliz, P, Texas

These players will be off waivers on 7/12. These two teams need to either make a roster spot for these players on their minor league squad or release their rights to these players by 7/13.

so, if your player isn't randomly added, you can keep more than 10 minor leaguers? I don't get the point of this - why not just draft added minor leaguers through waivers?

This gave everyone an opportunity to draft amateur players they actually wanted instead of having to wait until they are added to have "the rights" to that player and missing out on those players if they are not online at the right time. It's only an additional 5 players (less for some).

Clarification, mooch. Of the players recently added, not many have been picked up. Since they are currently off waivers, does that mean that guys who were not added are now free agents?

If we're going by the rule you set, then they should be. However, the bitching and whining that would occur if you allowed anyone to pick any of those guys up would be epic. Any way to set a date on that, and allow the unpicked players to either become free agents or to go into next year's draft pool? I don't want poeple to lose their draft picks, but the level of attention to this has been astoundingly low. It's like poeple just lose interest after the trade deadline, which is another issue in itself.

I am going to give a little slack here just because of the time of year. Plus I had forgotten two of these guys don't have access to this forum so I am going to send an e-mail from the league.
