My gut is saying Lee will explode this year.

.415/.530/.920

at least 80 bombs.

What's funny is that his OPS would still only be .29 higher than Bonds' 2004 OPS.

That fact makes me feel a little sick.

Bonds your a scumbag.

I mean .029. And yes Bonds is a scumbag.

Lee already has three homers. Hopefully it was his wrist holding him back last year. It certainly would help if he was dominant again.

If Lee does hit well that would be wonderful. It would be nice if he had somebody on base...hint Fuku...hint... in front of him though.

Maybe I'm just a homer, but I was expecting at least 35HR from Lee this year. Almost all the prediction systems have him hitting somewhere between 20-30HR this year, based on his crappy year last year where he was clearly bothered by his wrist the first half of the season. The second half of the season should've been an indicator that Lee's still got it.

I think he could be a darkhorse MVP candidate, easily.

I get what you're saying, but .317/.400/.513/.913 say, "Hi."

it took lee until may 19th last year to get his 3rd home run.

Wow.

It's also somewhat relevant to note that his HR's haven't been cheapy's either. Yesterdays - while the wind was blowing towards left a little - was an absolute freaking bomb. His wrist is officially back, I think.

His wrist made its official comeback last September, if you ask me. Edited by David

I agree, but I don't remember him hitting any real bombs last year. This year it seems like he's really laying into the ball. Good to see.
