Was at the Cubs/Brewers game on Thursday and was walking by a couple of the concession stands, when I passed by Bruce Miles...at least, I thought it was Bruce. Hey Bruce, if you read this post can you confirm it was you? That game was quite the slugfest---- ending in a 10-10 tie. Cubs should have won it though because they had plenty of opportunites, the play that really hurt was when DeRosa tagged third base, ran home standing up and was easily tagged out. If he would have slid into home he would have been safe, and the Cubs would have ended up winning the game, and we probably all would have seen Kerry Wood in the 9th to nail down a safe. Bruce what were your thoughts.

It might have been me. I didn't stop at the stand, but I may have been heading back upstairs. My thoughts on Thursday were to get the heck out of town and, "Why is this last game of spring training taking three and a half hours?" Usually, teams try to swing at the first pitch on get-away day and have a two-hour game, but with minor leaguers pitching for both teams and most of the regular hitters in there, we were treated to a long day. But overall, a fun spring.

Kerry Wood will nail down plenty of safes in the regular season.

Hopefully plenty of saves too.

You just quoted the guy who already made your argument but executed it better. So well, in fact, that you missed it.

You missed the fact that I was correcting a mistake of his.

I can't tell if you're joking or not.

Well, I wasn't, but now that I read the 1st post I guess I should say I was. I never completely read the original post. I see what he was saying now.

--Yeah Bruce, it was definitely you. After you passed me by, I thought about yelling hi to you but decided not to. You make a very good point about the length of the game, and it was so hot on Thursday. Me and my buddies stayed for the duration of the game but I know a lot of people left before it ended.
