Hey folks...

I can't be very available on Sunday night, and my minors are full, so I am looking to package draft picks and exempt players to move up a little bit in the draft. Not looking to move into the top 7 or 8 rounds, but I will give up exempt reserves and picks to move up a couple of rounds here and there.

Ryan Garko and Michael Teahen both project with better points than guys like Fukudome and Hank Blalock, and Andre Ethier and Elijah Dukes both have multi-position eligibility. None will be immediate fantasy starters (Garko potentially could be, though), but all are viable reserves.

I just have zero need for minor leaguers (I am happy with mine) and that is what you get in those rounds that I am trying to move out of.

Why? Because I have no use for Andre Ethier or Hayden Penn? Ethier is a dime a dozen type of guy, and I needed the room in the minors with Salty being demoted.

You could get in on the action too, ya know?

Tim MUST have naked photos of Slainte, because he gave up a Minor league catcher for a starting RF AND a 5th round pick.

Or you could look at it from a standpoint of me having no use for Jeff Francoeur for the top hitting CATCHING prospect in baseball. The fifth round pick is a bit pricy, but I have ONE hole on offense and I need two starting pitchers which I will address. My team is loaded to the hilt offensively, and we just keep retooling the minors with top prospects.

Sorry, but I am not drinking that Kool Aid. You got a prospect who isn't even worth a 5th rounder, much less throwing in an exempt RF who could be a top 5 RF. Even the BEST catcher in the game projects somewhere around 50th in offensive points- and that is a PROVEN commodity.

I just don't get it. Yes, you have a good offensive team. "Loaded to the hilt"? Not so sure, especially when you give up your starting RF for a guy who won't be any use to you this season. But, hey... it's your team. My opinion means just about zero.

Anyway, good luck. With the players you have returning and your draft picks, I don't see any way that you and Ocho Loco shouldn't be favorites. But, I think Tim has put himself into that discussion adding Francouer AND a 5th rounder.
