Is there any way to do it the way CBS typically does in their leagues? For team who will miss all or part of the draft, the way ours is set up is a major problem.

 

Typically, CBS has you rank your players by position, and then rank the order in which you would like for your positions to be drafted. With the current set-up, it is possible to miss out on 3 rounds, and end up with 3 consecutive picks all at the same position. Is it too late to revert to the other way?

Tim could probably answer this question better than I. I will try and take a look at it later tonight though.

I have checked both the java and HTML formats and there is no option to change it. Maybe CBS doesn't allow you to do it the other way anymore.

I've never seen that method though that's a good idea. Mooch, you can email the helpdesk and see if they have a suggestion.

They do. Perhaps it's only in auto draft leagues?

The response I received from the helpdesk was pretty vague but it looks like what is available when you click "Rank Players" is it.

 

I will try and look into it more tonight. I wasn't on much the last couple of days since we had to put one of our dogs down Easter Sunday morning. We have no children so these are our babies. :cry:

 

She would have been 13 in a couple of weeks so she had a full and wonderfull life.

There is no way to change the draft rank but what you can do is place players in your draft queue now before the draft and the draft robot will choose from that list first. First player entered will be first player choosen.

What sucks is that there is no search feature. Like if I want to draft some prospect that is not ranked in the top 150 or whatever I cant look him up and just add him to my top 20 or whatever I have to wait till the draft and then search for him during the draft. Unless Im missing something I dont see a way to search then rank a player once you have brought up his profile.

You can add him to your queue in the draft room.
