Lou encouraging Soto to use opposite field

I'm only making a thread about this cause some people brought it up in the game thread the other day. Soto has a huge tendency to pull the ball, and some people theorized that maybe his patience would allow him to do that and still get away with it. Well, there was a one-line blurb in the Trib this morning that said "Piniella said the Cubs are working with catcher GEOVANY SOTO, trying to get him to use more of the field and not pull the ball so much"

 

Anyway, just thought I'd throw that out there.

I think it's a great idea. An extra 20-30 points on BA is more valuable than a few HRs. He's big and strong enough to get his share of HRs.

Ugh. Damnit, I swear it's this new keyboard. I've never had a problem with that on any other computer besides this one.
