On the opposite side of things.. How amazing would it be if the Cubs managed to win this series after being down 2-0...

It would be like a very poor man's version of what the BoSox did in 2004, seeing as how they did it in a 7 game series (for the first time ever), against their chief rival, and went on to win the World Series...

hoenstly, my worse case scenerio would be my best case scenerio at this point, and it would be winning this series, going down 3-0 in the NLCS, winning that series, going down 3-0 and winning the WS. i think my heart would explode.

Now that would be the greatest world series run in baseball history, and you, my friend, are living in disneyland.

Davis is diff., with Davis you try and get him to rely on the FB and be able to get to counts where he can throw his change and curve, he jam the Cubs hitters on strike one and then they would swing at pitches out of the zone.

Davis isn't going to get fatigued like Hernandez, unlike Davis, you can hit Livan when you're down in the count.

Davis doesn't throw many strikes, Livan will.

We got 4 runs off of Davis, that should have been enough. Lilly crapped the bed.

Lilly sucked, it doesn't change the fact the Cubs had a piss poor approach and should've did more against a pitcher with the stuff Davis had last night.

We should have got more, but we did get enough to win. 4 runs would have been enough for Z to cruise to a victory.

Based on expert analysis, the Cubs approach at the plate will look like something similar to this in game 3:

I dont know if it says "Hitting 101" or "Hitting lol"... But things don't look too good.

It wasn't Z, it was an off Ted Lilly.

They didn't get enough to win. The offense had a chance to step up and try and keep them in the game vs. a bad pitcher and couldn't b/c the 3 best hitters were as bad as Lilly was.

Yeah the big three are terrible. Out of them the only one I really thought could carry us was Ramirez anyway. The way I look at it we are paying a lot of money for two slightly above average players in Soriano and Lee.
