Is the post-season schedule through the World Series already set in terms of dates, or is it flexible based on when previous series end?

I have a work fundraiser to attend on Sat. Oct 20th. I was told if there was an NLCS game that night, they would pull in multiple TVs in the room. They would rather keep all guests in the same room, instead of a small gathering bellied up to the bar. :D

It can be changed with each step: division, championship series, world series.

No. That's just flat wrong.

So is it against the rules to schedule the induction of our baby for the night of the 17th that way the baby will be born on the 18th when the NLCS isn't going on, just in case the cubs are there? The Doctor suggested the 18th so it wouldn't be too much of a stretch, I dont think.

If the Cubs play the Rockies, who has home field advantage?

The Cubs do, as they're the #3 seed since they won a division.

Wild Card team is always the #4 seed.

So, if the Rockies win, our home games would be

10/11, 10/12, 10/17, and 10/20

If the Phils win, our home games would be

10/14, 10/15, and 10/19

Crap, considering I'll be in Vegas from 10/14 in the AM until 10/17 in the AM, I'm rooting my head off for the Rox.

I'm wrong there, its 2-3-2.

NLCS Game 1 Thurs., Oct. 11 TBS

NLCS Game 2 Fri., Oct. 12 TBS

NLCS Game 3 Sun., Oct. 14 TBS

NLCS Game 4 Mon., Oct. 15 TBS

NLCS Game 5 Wed., Oct. 17 TBS

NLCS Game 6 Fri., Oct. 19 TBS

NLCS Game 7 Sat., Oct. 20 TBS

So if the Rockies win, we have the first 2 and the last 2.

10/11

10/12

10/19

10/20

If the Phils win, we have the middle 3

10/14

10/15

10/17

GO ROCKIES!!!!
