I'm not sure which forum this would go in but are cameras allowed in Wrigley field during games? Are there any limitations on which cameras are allowed, and which are not?

I checked the cubs site, but couldn't find anything.

Thanks!

No, cameras are not allowed. That's why you never see camera flashes during the game.

Can I get a deciding vote?

Sorry Wayne. I thought it was pretty obvious I was joking. They are allowed.

I relized that after my second post. I don't get to see cubs games on TV unless they are nationally televised. And I guess I had never paid much attention to the flashes before.

I'll be at the game Saturday and want to bring my camera to get some good shots...

Yeah, just think of all those flashes when Sammy would take a swing in 1998. There were a few during the 03 playoffs too.

I was there for a 3 game Cubs-Cardinals series in 98 and neither Sammy nor Mark hit a homer but one of the games was a night game and the number of flashes was incredible.

I was going to make a new post but I figure this would work here. I'm also going to the Saturday game, with my girlfriend, and I know she'll want to bring some bottled water or something. Is it okay to bring in sealed bottles of water, or no?

Yes, you can actually bring in small soft sided coolers, must be small enough to fit under your seat (so big enough to carry 6-8 bottles). As long as they are sealed and not overtly alcohol they will let it go.

Additionally you are allowed to bring in your own food as well. When I go, I bring my own premixed Captain and Coke in 20 oz bottles and two five pound bags of peanuts and pistashios. You just have to go through the bag search line when entering the stadium, takes a little longer.
