You'd think for a league with 1,000 rules and an oddball scoring system, getting a pitcher added to your starting staff wouldn't be like pulling teeth.

 

I don't understand it. This league with all of its' little nuances require you to methodically analyze so many miniscule (and quite frankly, trivial) aspects of your team and then something like this takes over a week to get resolved.

I will add that the complicated rules are meant to make the league better but they do require some cooperation from the managers. I know this from experience with my own league. The commissioner cannot possibly keep up with everything - remember this is unpaid position. So, lets cut Tim some slack and instead of complaining, try to help him out. Is that too much to ask?

It isn't too much to ask at all. I appreciate the league, and hope to be in it for 10 years. However, my request did sit unanswered for nine days.

 

Tim, you are doing a fine job, and we are all grateful. If I can help you run the league, I would be glad to. This can be a lot of fun, and I certainly don't want to see it go down the drain, so if I can help, let me know how.

Not to throw another log on the fire but per league rules a pitcher that was a reliever has to have 5 starts before he becomes eligible as a starter.
